Recently the company has launched the two stunning touchscreen smart phones which are Acer M900 and Acer X960. Both of these are Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional powered phones and armed with Widget-based UI. Let me tell you more about the striking features of these smart phones through the article.

Acer M900

1. Acer M900 has got 3.8 inches TFT resistive touchscreen displaying 65K colors with 480 x 800 pixels. It carries 188 grams and the black coloured casing measures 119 x 62 x 17.1 mm. On the contrary Acer X960 boasts 2.8 inches touchscreen providing 480 x 640 pixels and 65K colours.
2. The touchscreen of these also support handwriting recognition feature but in addition M900 comes with full QWERTY keyboard with Fingerprint recognition. Both of the brothers are equipped with same connectivity features like 3G HSDPA, HSUPA, WLAN Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, miniUSB, GPRS and EDGE.

Acer M900 possesses 5 MP camera that can capture pictures at 2592х1944 pixels resolution with auto focus and LED flash feature but Acer X960 has only 3.15 MP camera with 2048×1536 pixels resolution and LED flash. By using these phones, you can also enjoy video calling through VGA videocall camera.
4. These two supports same HTML Web browser and messaging features like SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Instant Messaging.

Acer X960 owns 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM but M900 is not having any internal memory and for further expansion users can insert memory cards in card slot that is available with both of these. The standard Li-Ion 1530 mAh battery of Acer M900 renders 4 hours talk time and 470 hours standby time. But there are no battery backup details published about the Acer X960.
